A Victorian satinwood and giltmetal mounted credenza of broken D-shaped outline inlaid overall with purple heart and boxwood, the moulded Carrara marble top and egg-and-dart border above a foliate scroll frieze and a pair of central panelled doors, each with an oval green Jasperware plaque with classical figure flanked by fluted and spiral-twist uprights, with bowed open shelves on plinth base -- 74½in. (189cm.) wide.
