An Indian knife, the steel blade stamped twice bearing the inscription 'Surapur' and dated 1206, with faceted soapstone hilt and green velvet scabbard -- 16¼.in.long, late18th century; and another Indian knife, longer, with similar stamped decoration and inscription in gilt, similar hilt with hanging tassel and mauve velvet scabbard -- 17.in.long, late 18th century.
