A Japanese three-case kinji inro decorated on both sides in hiramakie, kirigane, togidashi and nashiji and inlaid in the Shibayama-style with a family playing games in an interior before a screen and festival banners, the father giving his child a ride on his back while the mother looks on and holds a smaller child, the reverse with a parrot on a stand before a basket of flowers, ivory ojime carved and stained as a flowering prunus root, and kagamibuta manju netsuke decorated with a basket of chrysanthemum and daisy (scratched, large amounts of inlay missing) -- 3½in.long.
