Woolwich July 1824', with 72 intricate pen, ink, and wash diagrams and illustrations, many full-page, 36 in colour showing cannon emplacements, and the implements and materials required for the construction of weapons, such as 'Star Moulds for 1lb. Rockets', 'a Trunnion Cutter', and the 'Plan for a Boring Machine', many of these shown in cross-section, with measurements, original crimson half morocco, gilt (lightly soiled); with 18pp. in the same hand loosely-inserted, on pontoons, incorporating five pen, ink and watercolour drawings.
