An Italian stained walnut cassone, the rectangular hinged lid with arcaded foliate carved decoration above similar panels to the front with one door to the side enclosing three drawers on angled hairy paw feet, part 17th Century, renovated in the 19th Century, back with paper label with armorial device -- 53in.
