(lacks nameplate); accompanied by a letter of authenticity from John Du Cann stating that the amp. was purchased ..in 1967 from Jimi Hendrix's road manager as they traded in the Experience equipment at a shop called Sound City in Shaftesbury Avenue...

John Du Cann used this amp. throughout his career from 1967-1981. In the 1960s he performed at many of the same venues as Hendrix including Bag O'Nails, Tiles, Braises, Speakeasy, The Marquee and Middle Earth. Du Cann played with a number of groups including The Attack, Andromeda, Atomic Rooster, Bullet, Hard Stuff and Thin Lizzy.
