THE PROPERTY OF A LADY
The following lots are the property of a European collector whose interest in antiquities was first developed during the 1950's when she travelled extensively in Asia Minor, Egypt and Italy. She became an enthusiastic collector and was to acquire part of her collection through buying at auction in Europe. The lots here reflect her main interest which was to concentrate on the smaller scale artefacts, especially Egyptian, which figured in the everday life of the ancients.
