A Chinese dragon robe (ch'i-fu) of blue silk, embroidered in couched metal threads with nine dragons chasing flaming pearls amongst cloud scrolls and symbols over a sea-wave border, the horse shoe cuffs with dragons, lined with pale blue silk, late 19th century
