A LATE VICTORIAN OAK CIRCULAR DINING TABLE AND LEAF CABINET
Circa 1890
The circular moulded top above a plain frieze with six extension arms supporting twelve concentric leaves with brass fittings, on a central baluster carved support with incised stretchers and downswept moulded feet with recessed castors, 183 cm. (72 in.) diameter; 305 cm. (120 in.) diameter when extended; 80 cm. (31 3/4 in.) high; the leaf cabinet with moulded cornice and panelled sides with reeded pilasters, fitted to store twelve concentric leaves, on a tall plinth base
