etching, 1855, on tissue-thin Japon, a richly inked impression, Delteil's third (final) state, with margins, an inconspicuous tear at the center upper margin (extending just into the platemark), two very soft creases in the center left margin (one extending just into the platemark), a few scattered foxmarks at the right margin edge, hinged intermittently along the front of the sheet edges, remains of old glue and an old label at the reverse of the upper margin edge (showing through), otherwise in good condition
