IMPORTANT AND RARE RHODOLITE AND DEMANTOID GARNET, DIAMOND AND GOLD IRIS BROOCH
Designed as a single iris blossom set with circular and cushion-cut rhodolite garnets of various sizes, each descending sepal enhanced by an old European-cut diamond vein terminating with a hessonite garnet, joined to an oval-cut demantoid garnet stem and leaf, mounted in platinum and gold (one rhodolite garnet replaced with a synthetic stone), circa 1900
