A 19th century French ormolu encrier, the grey marble oval plateau modelled with a figure of Minerva, seated and holding the Medusa shield, the leaf chased hand bell flanked by urn shaped pots, the frieze with draped lambrequin swags -- 15in. high, adapted for use as a table lamp.
