A pair of Vienna-style plates, painted in colours with a portrait of a young girl in eastern European dress to the right signed Dittrich, within a claret border reserved with rectangular panels of flowers and foliage in colours and gilding, the reverse inscribed "Gretchen", blue beehive mark, circa 1880 -- 9½in. diam.
