A garniture of three Davenport ironstone octagonal jugs with snake handles, printed in underglaze-blue and enriched in iron-red and gilding with a peony issuing from vases, and sprigs of flowers, the border with a diaper rim, printed mark - 7in. to 6in. high; two Mason;s ironstone jugs similar; a dinner-plate similarly decorated; a soup-plate similar; and an octagonal tray, painted with sprays of flowers and enriched in gilding on four paw feet, mid 19th Century. (one of the smaller Davenport jugs cracked, enamels worn).
