A Minton side-plate, painted in the Imari colours with a flower issuing from rockwork within a double line cartouche, the border with flowerheads and fances alternating with panels of scrolls and foliage on a blue-ground, the reverse with iron-red flowers enriched in gilding, blue painted mark, pattern number 184, circa 1820.
