A George III oval teapot engraved with wriggle-work decoration and with a tapering angular spout, polished wood scroll handle and domed hinged cover with oval wood finial, one side engraved with an armorial, the other with a crest, each within a shield-shaped cartouche surrounded by engine-turning and a bright-cut foliate wreath, Henry Chawner and John Emes, London 1796 - 5¾in., 13.25oz. gross.
