A George III bright-cut tapering oval teapot with rising curved spout, large polished wood scroll handle and steeply-domed hinged cover with oval wood finial, one side engraved with an armorial with motto beneath and crest above, the other side engraved with a monogram, each within a shield-shaped cartouche surrounded by bright-cut floral and foliate swags and tassels, Thomas Law, Sheffield 1795 - 7¼in., 14oz. gross.
