A George III Scottish moulded oval three-piece tea service on ball feet and with gadrooned waved rims and bracket handles, each bright-cut with friezes of trellis-work and scrolling foliage and engraved with a monogram, the teapot with a panelled rising curved spout and domed hinged cover with bright-cut shaped oblong finial, the milk jug and sugar basin gilt-lined, maker's initials D. & M., Edinburgh 1809 - height of teapot 5½in., 38oz.(3)
