Beresford (Jack): An album containing approximately 300 photographs mounted on 26ll., some small snapshots but also many photographs of large size (6¼ x 9in. and similar), not only covering Beresford's win against the German pair in the double sculls at the 1936 Olympics, but his related leisure activities and practise sessions for the Games, also with various telegrams of congratulation laid down, and some later photographs of a skiing holiday in Tyrol and rowing with the London University boat club, 1937-38, all the photographs with manuscript captions in his own hand, final leaves blank, contemporary morocco (lightly rubbed).
