A SEPIK STANDING FIGURE, with hooked nose, a cylindrical projection from the top of the head, on inscribed base, 29cm. high; a Trobriand Islands betel-nut pestle; carved as a head, the features heightened with lime, 9cm. long; a Massim conical mortar, incised with scrolls heightened with lime, 10cm. high; a pestle; a bone knife; two lime spatulas, one with the finial pierced and carved with scrolls, each about 26cm. long; and a Massim oval bowl, the rim carved with scrolls, cracked, 46.5cm. wide (8)
