THREE NEW CALEDONIA ADZES, each with bulbous head in two sections lashed to the shaped wood handle with plaited fibre, one with handle inscribed: New Caledonia, another with panel of cross hatching to the back of the head, dark glossy patinas, the blades missing, 20.5cm. to 26.5cm. long; and an Admiralty Islands comb with twenty-two palmwood tines, the finial modelled with geometrics and painted red and black, inscribed: St Gabriel Admiralty Isl., 34cm. long (4)
