CIRCA 1805, IRON-RED STENCILLED MARKS TO THE PLATES, SCRIPT MARKS TO THE CUPS
Painted in iron-red and enriched in gilt with Classical figures, the border with a vine of pendant husks, some wear to gilding, comprising:
A footed bowl--10in. (25.5cm.) diam
A coffee-pot and cover, finial restuck, handle repaired--8¼in. (20.9cm.) high
A sugar-bowl and cover, finial restuck, associated crack--7 1/8in. (18cm.) high
A cream-jug, chip to footrim--7¾in. (19.6cm.) high
Ten dessert plates, two cracked--8in. (20.3cm.) diam.
Six teacups, one broken and restuck
Five saucers, rim chip to one--5 3/8in. (13.7cm.) diam.; (25)
