A late Victorian gilt-lined inverted bell-shaped cup and cover in the early 18th Century taste, on a rising circular foot and with applied strap-work decoration, two leaf-capped scroll handles and a baluster finial, later-applied with an enamelled circular plaque for the Bath Road Club and also with extensive later inscriptions, in a fitted plush-lined oak carrying case and with an ebonised wood plinth, Charles Stuart Harris, London 1897 - height of cup and cover 17½in., 142oz.
