A chalice cover of ivory silk, embroidered in coloured silks, gilt threads and sequins, the centre worked with a roundel of the Virgin framed by stylised petals, the corners and borders with flowers and metal thread scrolling patterns--21in x 20in., parts of the ground re-applied, probably Italian, circa 1700
