A sampler by Mary Brocklehurst, 1829, worked in coloured silks with a verse "Jesus Permit" also with baskets of flowers and butterflies, within a border composed of trailing naturalistic flowers--19in x 16in., framed; and a machine made tapestry panel of a gentleman on horse back.
