A figure of Jumbo, modelled as a standing African elephant to the right, with black skin, on a shaped oval base enriched in colours, reserved with a ribbon cartouche, named in raised capitals enriched in gilding, on a gilt-lined base (E,103,211), circa 1882 - 10¾in. high (enamels slightly worn).
