A pierced ivory brisé fan painted with a central vignette of Vesuvius erupting by night and two escutcheon painted with a summer and winter landscape with a villa and a palace, the verso with a mother with a child carrying a kite and two other vignettes of children - 6½in., probably painted in Naples, circa 1810
