A Linthorpe pottery vase designed by Dr Christopher Dresser, on flared foot the bulbous cylindrical body with short cylindrical neck, painted in colours with pendant sprays of passion flowers, in shades of green and blue on a yellow ground, the rim with a band of everlapping spears in brown, blue and yellow, impressed factory mark, facsimile signature and 754 (restored) -- 14½in. high
