A Pilkington's Royal Lancastrian vase decorated by William S Mycock, of shouldered tapering cylindrical form painted in gold lustre on a mottled pink and orange ground with a fully rigged galleon surrounded by gulls, the reverse with a shield enclosing a griffin rampant, impressed factory mark, painted monogram and dated 1924 - 17in. high
