An American 19th Century four-piece baluster coffee service on fluted rising circular bases chased with flowers and scrolling foliage, each chased with Gothic ruins and churches, flowers and foliage and engraved with monograms, with wriggle-work-engraved rims and chased bracket handles with rams head thumbpieces, comprising: a coffee pot and hot milk jug with rising curved spouts, a lidded sugar basin and a cream jug, the coffee pot, hot milk jug and sugar basin with rococo floral and foliate finials, S. Kirk and Son, Baltimore, Maryland, probably 1846 to 1861 - height of coffee pot 14in, 122oz.
