A Satsuma vase with tapering neck painted and heavily gilt with panels of officials and ladies in a landscape and warriors in conversation below a tree, on a dark blue ground reserved with flowerheads and geometric panels (gilt rubbed) -- 7½in.high, signed and with impressed mark of Kinkozan.
