Sarolides in the negatives, pencil captions on mounts, half morocco, ruled in gilt, lge oblong 4to.; with an album containing seventy-seven albumen prints, approx. 8½ x 11in., including two panoramas, one two-part, 8½ x 20½in., the other two-part, 8½ x 32in., signed by various photographers' in the negatives, full morocco, title Egypt and the East, 1903 in gilt on upper cover, ruled in gilt, g.e., oblong 4to. Lot Essay

The former with portraits of the Camel Corps and Railway foremen in the Suez, Officers' Camps in Cyprus and Malta, views of Algeria and of the Bosphorus. The latter including native portraits and general scenery by photographers including Bonfils, E. Lauro and Arnoux.
