YOSHITOSHI: oban tate-e (37.1 x 25.2cm. ea. approx.); the diptych entitled Otomi yosaburo no hanashi "The story of Otomi and Yosaburo", from the series Shinsen azuma nishiki-e "A new selection of eastern color prints", signed Yoshitoshi and published by Tsunashima Kamekichi; the diptych entitled Shimmei sumo toso no zu "The battle of the wrestlers and firemen at Shinmei shrine", from the same series, similarly signed; and three single sheets from the series Tsuki hyakushi "One hundred aspects of the moon", depicting Prince Ouso, the moon at Yamashiro and Shinto rites, each signed Yoshitoshi and published by Akiyama Buemon--moderately good to good impressions, slightly faded, first diptych and single sheets toned and stained (7)
