A set of three Imari plates painted and gilt with chrysanthemum and peonies issuing from behind rush fences and with half-rolled scrolls tied with tassels -- 8½in.diam.; and another Imari plate with foliate rim painted with a vase of chrysanthemum to the centre, the rim with stylised flowerheads and foliage -- 8¼in.diam., all late 17th century.
