Standing on an oval plinth in full armour, arms outstretched; the waist girded by a rope belt suspending a dagger in a sheath on the left side, the legs encased in thick armous incised with line patterns below a flared skirt incised with large zig-zag lines, the face framed by long plaits of hair and the neck encircled by a necklace of raised beads--27¾in. (71 cm.) high, restorations

The results of the Report on Thermoluminescence Analysis no. 581s93 obtained by the Research Laboratory for Archaelogy and the History of Art, Oxford University, are consistent with the dating of this lot.
