A Russian eight-piece tea service comprising: a moulded tapering tea-pot on four bracket feet, with rising curved spout, scrolled handle, a rising domed cover with ivory finial; a matching hot-water jug and cream jug; a lidded two-handled sugar bowl; a circular slop bowl; a swing-handled gilt-lined cake basket; a straining spoon and a pair of sugar tongs, makers mark Grashev, Moscow 1883, 104oz - height of hot-water jug 9in.
