Lot Essay

This is the first mix of the album Let It Bleed recorded in the summer of 1969 and mixed by Keith Richards while Mick Jagger was away filming in Australia. Merry Clayton's vocals had yet to be added to the track Gimme Shelter and Sister Morphine was held back until Sticky Fingers (1971), also some of Ry Cooder's pedal steel guitar work was lost in the released version, and Loving Cup was dropped.
