Accompanying copy of a letter from the vendor outlines the provenance of the drawing. John Lennon would doodle on a lined yellow legal pad during the hours of his testimony and at breaks over lunch ..when Lennon was not in the room, the various attorneys would remove the drawings from his pad as keepsakes... Lennon was a little annoyed by this and said to me that he would do a drawing just for me....
