A rare typescript letter, signed, 22nd June 1974, 1.W. & 72 NY. NY. apt.72, to Cynthia, telling her ..this is the answer to your letter. i dont have it with me so i cant REALLY answer it. as you can see, i learned to TYPE! any way its getting near JULIANS, holiday, and i thought i,d ask you when i should send may [Pang] over for him. how long etc etc. you could tell me on the phone i suppose, but i felt like typing...thats all for now...lots of love, to you, JULIAN, and LIL**. your famous exhusband, john. annotated with a caricature of a smiling face between two flowers, in coloured felt pens. 1p.

Although John Lennon used the Dakota address at the top of this letter he was living with May Pang at this time at 434 East 52nd Street, New York. This is the only letter John wrote to Cynthia after their divorce in 1968.
