This card gives a unique insight into eighteen year old Lennon's feelings for fellow art student Cynthia Powell, whom he married five years later. It is also a rare example of his self-portraiture.

Seven of the eight pages reproduced on pages 104-105 of Ray Coleman's book John Winston Lennon Sidgwick & Jackson, 1984.
