A rare and early American painted pressed steel and cast-iron 'Hill Climber' single-headlamp Two-Seater Racing Automobile by the David P Clark Company of Dayton, Ohio, finished in red with gilt lining and decoration, the cast-iron flywheel driving subsidiary axle, with steering action, cast-iron spoked wheels and a cast-iron chauffeur in style of Kenton Hardware Company, stamped on underside 'Hill Climber, Pat. Nov ....indistinct' (2 1897), circa 1903 --12in. long
