Two artists' studies by Sherlock, each approx. 4½ x 4¾ in., arched tops, numbered and signed in pencil on verso; thirteen family and other portraits by Lady Lucy Bridgeman; fifteen 1860s British country house views probably by Frith including Backford Hall, Mollington Bannestre and Hall, Beeston Castle, Eaton Hall, Aldersey Hall in Cheshire, Hawarden Castle and Penrhyn Castle; three others with Frith printed credits of Barnard Castle, Twizel Bridge & Castle and Holy Island; two studies of horses by R. Tucker Pain; three views of new buildings by the architect W. Parnell at Newcastle racecourse dated 1867; 'Horses of the Capitol...' by Robert MacPherson numbered 148 on mount; and other country house interior and exterior views including The Hendre, one of these by J. A. Rolls, a member of the Amateur Photographic Association.
