lithograph, 1896, on laid Van Gelder Zonen, fifth (final) state, a proof apart from the 14 inscribed and numbered impressions in this state (there were also a few proofs in each of the earlier states), published by Les Temps nouveaux, with wide margins, an unobtrusive printer's crease showing mostly at bottom, the palest mat staining and an occasional foxmark in the margins, minor soiling in the margins and on the reverse, framed L. 9 3/4 x 11 5/8in. (248 x 295mm.)
