A Sèvres-style pink-ground two-handled vase and cover, painted in colours with cherubs playing with doves in flight the reverse with three putti huddled around a fire within a canted rectangular cartouche with moudled swags, on a socle gilt-metal mounted base, circa 1850 -- 14in. high.
