A well detailed 1:48 scale wood and metal model of the ocean going Salvage Vessel 'Knight of St. Patrick' originally built by the Grangemouth Dockyard Co. 1886 for Mersey Original Steam Tug Co. and modelled by C.J.Lamond -- 16¼ x 38in.(41.2 x 96.5cm)
With masts, derricks and rigging and deck details including anchors, winch, bollards, bitts, deck rails, companionways, hatches, glazed superstructure with wheelhouse over, ventilators, two stayed funnels, engine room lights, towhook and horses, gratings, two clinker built ship's boats in davits with bottom boards, thwarts and oars. The hull, planked in lime, covered with simulated plating has lime planked and caulked decks, twin propellors and rudder and is finished in pink, green, black and yellow. Mounted on four turned brass columns on display base
