A George III Irish gadrooned shaped oblong teapot on ball feet, the body bright-cut with a frieze of roundels and quatrefoils and wriggle-work borders, the cover with carved wood pineapple finial and shaped bracket handle, engraved with an armorial, crest and motto "Honor Probataque Virtus", bearing marks for Byrne and Law, Dublin 1807 - 7¾in, 25.50oz gross.
