A John Wilson is recorded at 70 Great Queen Street, between 1805-1813, it is likely that he was related to the maker of this lot who appears to be unrecorded, see Dictionary of English Furniture Makers, 1660-1840, Beard and Gilbert, 1986, pages 987-988
