A North-West Persian bronze dirk, the triangular blade with rectangular midrib, the hilt flanged to take inlays (traces of inlay remaining) and with a crescent-shaped pommel, the grip decorated with ten encircling lines; and another, similar, with three encircling ribs on the grip, the blade with curved midrib -- 16½in. (42cm.) long max., late 2nd millennium B.C.
