A British Neolithic brown flint axe, partially polished with flaked curved blade -- 6in. (15cm.) long, from Burnt Fen; a similar light grey polished flint axe -- 4¾in. (12cm.) long, from South Downs, Sussex; two fragmentary polished grey flint axes; two white flint flakes and a fragmentary polished axe -- 2¾in. (7cm.) long max., from Rockley; and a pink stone grinder, worn into the shape of a hand palm -- 3½in. (9cm.) across, from Salisbury Plain, all circa 4th-3rd millennium B.C.
