An Imari fluted dish with shaped rim painted and gilt with a central jardiniere of flowers on a fenced terrace within a border of chrysanthemums and further flowers -- 10½in. diam; and an Arita fluted dish painted with a central roundel of two birds on a flowering branch within a border of ho-o, rockwork and flowers -- 9in. diam, both early 18th Century.
